The price for this high qaulity seat is very reasonable. It has heavy springs and a hydraulic shock absorber. I installed this on a L4400 Kubota 40hp tractor with a custom base plate I fabricated. It sits higher than the original seat, but that's not an issue. You have to modify a seat switch as there is no safety switch installed, if so desired. The seat is not hard, better than cheap seats at the farm store. It does not tilt, but that wasn't a problem for my machine. For the money, this is a great deal. It is as good as the suspension seat that came on my JD 5425 cab tractor new.
