I purchased my belt back in 2015 and have worn it as a daily belt with both casual and dress clothes every day since. After all these years this belt is still as strong and as nice looking as the day I bought it. It is well worth the money and as soon as I can I intend to get another new one. Why? Not because of any damage or anything wrong with the one I have, but simply I have shrunk in waist size and finally need to downsize as I am on my last notch hole. Buy this and you will not need another one for a very long time. Also, in case you curious I often used this to carry my Glock 19.This is my 2nd Aker belt, the first one, carried my holster every day for about 4 years, this one lasted just 3 months, I put it on this morning, July 3rd 2022 and the snap that holds the buckle in place fell apart and the cap and stud fell to the floor. I guess they don't make'em like they used to at Aker either.I tend to prefer AIWB (appendix inside waistband) carry by default, and I've been using cheap leather belts from Wally World for years without much problem ... except for the fact that my belts always wind up getting pinched at the back loop area and the buckle holes either stretch out or the leather starts cracking around that area within 6 to 9 months. Getting tired of going through belts so often, so I decided to give this one a go.I'm about a size 32" waist, and I usually wear size 34" waist pants to give myself extra room for AIWB carry (and sometimes to make room for when I eat a bit much around the holidays). I took the measurement of my old belt as shown in the video (measure from where the leather starts inside the buckle and go all the way until you get to the hole in your belt that you most often use), and so I ordered a 36" belt. The fit is PERFECT. Even with a fatty-cakes Glock 21 inside my waistband, I wind up using the middle hole in the end of the belt, and I don't have a whole bunch of extra belt hanging off to one side, nor am I using the very last hole at the end of the belt. And there's plenty of room with more holes to expand (or shrink) the length if necessary. You can tell right away that it's stiffer than your average belt, although the kydex insert that's sandwiched between the two layers of leather does NOT extend into the area where the belt buckle holes are located. This makes it easier to get the belt on/off, otherwise it would be a royal pain or would require a different kind of buckle. It's also kind of a slick-finished leather, so it glides very easily into your belt loops, whereas a lot of other belts can be kind of tricky or even downright frustrating to thread through the loops. And best of all, this thing is attractive-looking enough that you could easily use it as a dress belt, though I prefer to use this for everyday wear, and it stays hidden underneath my usual untucked T-shirt (which seems a shame, given how nice this belt looks). On a whim, I did try this with one of my OWB slide holsters to see how it would fare. Sure enough, it actually does make a significant difference in comfort by being FAR more supportive than other belts, as its stiffness helps distribute the weight of the firearm over a wider area and prevents it from flopping around. VERY nice, if you prefer that form of carry. While the price is just a tad bit higher than I wanted to pay (around fifty bucks), I'm hoping that this will last at least four times longer than the $12 or $15 belts I've previously been buying, which would make the investment worthwhile.First of all, this is a terrific gun belt! It's so stiff that I can't coil it up at all. To pack it, I have to run it along the outside edge of a suitcase. I can put my holster with the fully loaded gun on the belt, and hold the belt without it sagging or "flipping" at all. Fantastic belt! The only downside is that the "tail" (for lack of a better term) between the last hole and the end of the belt is about 2 inches too short. After reading the measuring instructions, I measured my waist - 36" exactly and ordered a 36" belt as the instructions said to do. It fits perfectly. I wear it on the middle of the 5 holes. However, I can barely tuck the end of the belt into the first belt loop on any of my pants. This is just too short. If I had ordered the 38", I'd be wearing it on the tightest hole and need additional ones drilled as I loose weight. In retrospect, that what I should have done. I hope the company takes this feedback and adds another inch or two to the end of the belt. Either way, I'm thrilled with it. It works great, looks great and can be worn with anything from jeans, to dress pants and not look out of place.Runs small, I ordered a size up from my waist size like everyone suggests since carrying a firearm adds an inch or two to your waist line. When I am not carrying I am on the second to last hole on the belt. When I carry I some times put it on the last hole for comfort but if I don't eat a ton that day I can carry on the second to last hole. The belt is very sturdy and holds my IWB holsters with ease and doesn't move when I draw.I am a 34 waist, ordered a 36 belt and should have ordered a 38.Other than being small the quality is pretty good for the price, my last belt ripped around hole 4 from being bent to make it into the tongue hold down so I replaced it with this belt. This belt hasn't showed any signs of wearing or breaking since I bought it. I wear the belt daily summer and winter and it looks very sharp. Not dress belt quality but definitely very close. I ordered black and like it a lot.You will need to order 2" larger than your normal belt size due to the extra thickness of the belt. I saw other reviewers saying similar so went to the Aker's website to try to confirm. I was not able to find the recommend on their fitting page (it is possible I missed as was a bit rushed needing to get out the door) so ordered my normal belt size and sure enough too small. I reordered the next size up which yielded a perfect in the middle buckle hole fit. Advance shipped correct size and the return was painless. Belt appears to be high quality and your holster definitely will not "roll" on drawing the firearm. I only gave this a 4 (wish I could have given a 4.5) as does not work easy with my Glock Mag pouch. I think a snap-on or clip-on mag pouch would work perfectly (hey gotta leave something for my Bride to think about for a present to me in 2016 - or me her).
