Obviously you aren't getting the same quality as a full-sized 6' skeleton that costs $300, but this $40 model is sufficient for my needs. I am a first year medical student studying anatomy.There is a decent amount of motion - the major joints are flexible. The pectoral girdle is fixed, but that is understandable. The bones have a fair amount of detail. For instance, the tibial tuberosity and linear aspera of the femur are both visible. The base is definitely not the most stable and some of the bone connections are held together by a light and thin wire.In summary, you get what you pay for, but you will not find a better 3' anatomical skeleton for less than twice this price.
