AP Exhaust Pipe 38671 - High Performance for Cars & Trucks

When I went to install this, it was the correct size and shape except the donut gasket would not fit. After a lot of research and ordering a different one, I still did not have the correct part. Fortunately AP Exhaust has a consumer help number and reps who will spend as much time as needed with you to resolve your problem. After going over my issue for about 15 minutes, he finally asked if I was sure the one I had was made by AP. Looking at the label the part number was correct but there was no mention of AP. He then told me to look at the end of the pipe for the etched part number which he said all AP products have . There was no one and he informed me that I did not have an AP product. After ordering from a different source I received a genuine AP pipe and the flange was the proper size for the gasket. Problem solved. While I was able to return for full refund, the time and aggravation was extremely frustrating. The one I received was a quality made product, but the fact that it didn't fit makes it useless.
