I bought a new desk and was looking for something to keep the CPU off the floor without taking up too much space. The slide feature is nice to have because it allowed me to mount the CPU further back than I could have done otherwise-keeps it out of the way! There are two vertical sections so it can be adjusted to the height of your specific computer case height. These two pieces flex a bit in their fit so I used two self-tapping screws to hold them more firmly together. The joint at the T section isn't tight and the vertical section leans a little but it's not a great issue for me since the difference (top to bottom) is less than 1/2" in total.I had this unboxed and installed in about 20 minutes.I'm pretty happy with it and I don't imagine that much can go wrong with it.I really like the "Safco Model Swivel Mount Computer Holder (2175)" after I modified it to hold the computer true-vertical. The unit is solidly built. The roller-bearing slide is great how it stays in place, yet can be moved when desired. The swivel is solid, yet rotates nicely, as well. This product would have been 5-stars if it would hold the computer straight vertically out of the box. The weight of the computer tilts the bracket off 5 to 10 degrees from true vertical and drove me nuts (looked bad). You can tighten the bolts really tight as one suggested, but it is still a problem. I manufactured a small bolt-on steel bracket that has an adjustable set-screw so my computer now stays vertical. Safco could very easily modify their design and really have it right. I'd buy another one because this is the closest to what I need available on the market today (posted 1/23/2012).I had my PC on a rolling stand uner the desk that always caught the floor mat when I had to bring it forward. This should be more dust free as well. I particularly like the fact it swivels to allow access to the rear. My knees are shot so I can no longer crawl under my desk. It is heavy though, particularly with the PC added. You will need a strong desk top to which to mount it.My only recommendation is for the manufacturer. It needs a template so that one can measure clearance for the swivel when extended. I had our carpenter move it father forward - double holes in the underside of the desk. My only negative is the price, but it was worth it.I did check the reviews for some of the vendors who advertise at the bottom of Amazon's web page (not selling on Amazon). Prices were better, but the reviews re service were terrible. I opted to spend a bit more money and play safe.Exactly what you expect. Bought this for around 45 and it is definitely worth it. Mostly steel-construction - it is hefty, make sure your tabletop can support the weight of the mount and computer. I mounted this onto a motorized standing desk, so weight is important in my context. The sliding and swivel function works well.My Mac Pro is a heavy computer... When in this holder the whole unit angles a little to the side. It was off balance enough to bother me and I returned it. I went with the Mac Cuff pro instead. I liked that this one slid out and turned... but I couldn't stand the off balance position.Although the computer mount is made by safco, the top mounting plate is not the same as pictured. I purchased this specifically because of the design of the mounting plate. unfortunately that is not what was sent. on the plus side, the shipping was really quick. I have added a photo of the plate shipped.Large enough to hold a mid-tower PC, but bracket is not rigid enough to keep the PC level. It just looks amateurish. I wouldn't recommend this unless your PC is mini-tower at most.Easy to install. Did just what I expected. Keeps the tower off the floor and gives me access to the cablesgran caldiada pero solo si tu CPU es de los grandes. El mio es una lenovo de tamaño mediano y queda sobrando, hay un ajuste pero no tiene mucho juego. Si tienes compu grande es para ti
