I was left stranded by the OEM thermal actuator and upgraded to the electronic conversion actuator which worked 50% of the time. I can't rely on 50% chance of having 4wd when I need it. This was a super easy installation and takes all the worry out of wondering if your front axle will engage or not. Pull a lever and go. Super simple.One tip for installation, try slowly turning the front driveshaft by hand while you attempt to screw in the actuator plug. It will make it much easier than just trying to muscle it in and risking cross threading the plug.
