With a touch of super glue / or Gorilla glue this pouch will stay put on a cane; don't count on the velcro to hold it up without help. My mom uses it to hold her cell phone, credit card, pen and tissues. Decent amount of room in the zippered compartment. She used the first one for over 3 years before it needed replacement.May wear down faster if it's carried or tossed in a shoulder bag. When I go walking I use walking poles (LOVE THOSE BY THE WAY). One of my concerns were I should have ID on me if something should happen to me. I need an inhaler just in case, where do you put the phone if you wanted to call 911. Well it all fits nicely in this pouch which has a velcro strap on the back side to wrap around a cane or in my case walking poles. It has a zipper on the side where the wrist strap is. You can put some money in there incase you come across an ice cream stand..we can only hope so. The phone fit nicely in the pocket on the outside and stays put well. I really give it work out on the poles. I am not gently walking on a cane (although I have had way too much time on a cane) with all the movement, it stays in place. I love it love it love it. I am not hands free. Which with the use of walking poles you need both hands and I don't always have pockets.Jumping to walking poles check utube for the videos. I stared using them for stablilty. I could walk more upright and more stable than just a cane. Those are really worth checking out!I was sent an item that was different than depicted in the Amazon listing. The Amazon listing shows a pouch with a zipper on the side with some kind of strap pull. The one I received has the opening at the top with more of a key-ring style pull. To be honest the top opening seems far better than the side opening, so I like this better. I've included pictures since the one in the Amazon listing is wrong. Anyway, I like the item, the velcro straps have a backing that doesn't slip easily, and it fits my phone real well. Minus one star for the misleading photos on Amazon.I have this on my wheelchair and just love it! I attached it right behind my joystick on my power chair. I really love this and so far it's lasted over a year.Love it! But PROBLEM: "Attaches securely to any cane, walker, or wheelchair". Not quite. The clutch slides down your cane or any straight leg. SOLUTIONS TRIED: 1. Twist tie the clutch wrist strap to the cane wrist strap (hope you don't plan on using either). 2. Cable tie the cane just below the clutch. 3. Use a Velcro strap under the clutch esp. if you glue the thing. 4. Glue the clamps to the cane and leave the cane on a table for 2 days.I find that this doesn't stay on my cane so I don't use it for that. I think it would have been better if they didn't see the Velcro on the back. If the sewed one side on the clutch and then sent the other side with a sticky back then it could be put in the cane and then adhere the clutch on that way. The way it is made I find it slides and spins on the cane. I am pretty crafty do if I decide I want to use another clutch in this manner I will attach it like I stated. Right now it is just a very expensive change purse. So I wouldn't waste the money. I would just buy a clutch I love and put the Velcro on myself. The best bag for my arm crutch. Praying they do not stop making this one. Since my strokes I need a phone and medical cards with me at all times and this is the best bag. My Neurologist took pictures because he said this is the best thing that was ever made for people with medical issues. I saw a man at the doctor the other day with one too. He told me it is the best, because he is blind and he has everything right with him at all times. This helps me to keep my hands free and not have to manage to keep a purse on my shoulder while using my cane! Thank you for this wonderful product. As others have stated this does tend to slide down, but I just put an elastic hair tie under it on my cane and this stopped it from sliding. Alternately you could put a bead of hot glue around the cane at the point that you want the clutch to stay put.
