It came on-time and double boxed. No damage had occurred in-transit. I was expecting it to be a bit on the cheap side since it wasn't very much money. However, it is actually a very nice piece. The stain/wood finish is pretty. (I ordered it mahogany.) It's very solid. No dings or scratches.It came with the washers, screws, caps, and Molly's. I didn't use the molly's or caps, and it works just fine that way. (You can only see where the screws go in if you don't put something in the top pocket.)There is a phone number on the directions sheet of you have any problems. I had none.Heads-up, though: the washers in the diagram don't really look like the actual ones that come.It takes two people to mount: 1 person to hold the hefty weight of the wood rack, steady and even. Another person to drill it into the wall.I really like the function of this product and it suits my intent when I purchased it. That being said I was disappointed in two things when I opened the box. First I expected the color to be more chocolate based on the photo but the product is actually very reddish. The second disappointment was that the back panel had come off the unit during shipment. I had to reinstall the unit using a construction staple gun and a hammer. On the plus side the unit came with very good installation instructions and screw templates.The rack arrived with the hardboard backing barely stapled on. It must have been made on Friday at 5 PM in Shanghai, because the staples were there, just not placed where they needed to go to make things secure. Rather than send it back, I pulled out the non functional staples, and used some glue and wood screws to attach the backing as is should have been done in the first place. Now that it is up, it looks nice and holds a large quantity of magazines for our waiting room.The color was very very very red. Do not buy if you are trying to match it to other mahogany furniture. This piece is basically made of particle board so it is put together like a particle board piece. It came with two black screw covers that did not even begin to fit over the screws that hold the piece up.... so a magazine has to be kept in the first slot at all times so you don't see the bright gold screws holding the piece to the wall. If I would have had time to get another magazine holder for this office waiting area I would have!Looks nice, but havent had up for more than 2 wks, and already needing repairs. Again, color and wood look nice - but back is seperating from unit. We are going to have to use wood glue/screws!It is true to the cherry color, or even more red than you expect. Be prepared for that. Refund cost me a restocking feeWorks great for a professional look. Displays our brochures and is sturdy and a classic look.I have seen / used some previously that were made of flimsy board (almost a cardboard covered in laminate). This is a well made beautiful product.It was broken when I took it out of the box!The surrounding packing was minimal for such a long, unsteady article of furniture.I am still working on repairing it to a functional stateBut it did arrive on timeThe back of the rack seems to be merely stapled to the sides, it was never going to stay together for long! In fact....it fell apart within 2days! Very disappointing as it looked good, but the quality isn't there at all!
