We got this for our dogs. To keep them out of the living room. It’s very easy to move and fit into our living room.It was super easy to install- it arrived assembled so it just required standing it up and placing the two braces in slots to make it stand. It’s on the taller side and it looks nice. The swinging door feature is nice for us to be able to go through without having to step over it. The barrier does feel a little bit flimsy. We got it for our puppy so it’s working fine but a larger dog would likely be able to push it out of the way.The product arrivved late and the dowels on the door gate are going to have to be glued and reset. I have an odd shaped apartment and cannot attach suction cup gates. I needed a gate that would not fall over (this gate has feet that come with it and are easy to put on) . I was able to sit it up easily and the slats are close enough to keep my puppy unable to squeeze through it. However I am waiting for my handyman to repair it as the gate is damaged and it arrived that way. It was too hard to get out of the box and too heavy for me to repack it and ship it back so I am keeping it. I wish others better luck with the condition their gates arrive inAfter a couple months use, the latch broke. The gate is fine and sturdy, they need a better latch. I just keep the gate closed with a tie now.Only problem was i had 2 separate orders and never got the second one. They did refund. The gate is awesome.I needed a gate I could to place at the bottom of the stairs that would easily allow going thru a heavy trafficked area and this one looked like it would work for that purpose, plus it seemed sturdy/well made... Oh, well, it's not worth the money: first, the latch mechanism broke, probably within the first week or so of use, soI just started manually pushing in and pulling out the piston that secures the door (imaging doing that each time you have to go thru). Well, that task is now harder because the gate is falling apart, and I have to pull the gate up to allow for the piston to be at the same level of the hole... what a mess!! I wish I could return this gate.Overall, is very a very flimsy gate and could easily get knocked down by a medium dog, I actually had to secure one of the ends with a heavy object to avoid the gate from falling over.This is not worth, save you money and get something elseThis was not as sturdy as I thought it would be. Not sure if it'll work better on wood floors (we have carpet). We have a small dog, 18lbs, and sometimes I feel like if he gives it a good shove it'll topple over. We have parts of it leaning against sturdier objects and between chairs so it stays up. The gate doesn't close as well as we'd like it. Our puppy has been able to paw at it until it opened on its own.This product is not very durable. It fell over and broke one of the rails out of the inside in the first week of getting it.Sturdy - did the trick and doesn’t look too ugly - easy to use. Recommend it.Really good gate! It's sturdy but I find its stiff trying to pull the gate back to get through. I just hop over the top now. Easy to lift as well so no need for screws and can move it around the house. Looks so good and easy to assemble.Perfect for what I wanted it to do very happy!It wasn't as large as we anticipated but it does provide a barrier for our Labrador in the office.Top class
